Two eligibility traps deserve attention. First, the Driver post is not open to any civilian licence holder — the Armed Forces Class-I MT driver qualification is the core requirement, with a civil licence on top. Second, Safaiwala and Female Attendant are not “anyone can apply” posts despite the word “literate”: the notice asks for five years of experience. The newspaper cutting shortens this to “can read and write”, which understates the real bar.

The Contract Reality — Read This Before Applying

This is a contractual engagement at ECHS Polyclinic Barnala, not a permanent government job. Ex-servicemen are engaged for one year; civilian candidates are engaged for 11 months only.
