Faridkot Court Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for Lift Operator, Worker and Guard Posts

The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Faridkot (Punjab) has invited offline applications for 3 contractual posts at the Judicial Court Complex, Faridkot — one post each of Lift Operator, Worker (Creche) and Guard (Creche). All three posts are in the General category and will be paid at the D.C. rates (minimum wages fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot) from time to time.

This is a small recruitment with only three seats, so the details matter more than usual. Each post has a different age limit and a different eligibility route — most job portals have clubbed everything into a single “18–40 years, 8th/10th pass” line, which is not what the official notice says. Read the post-wise details below carefully before you fill the form, because a wrongly filled or incomplete application will be rejected without any notice.

Filled applications on the prescribed proforma must reach the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Faridkot by 31 October 2026, up to 5:00 PM. There is no application fee.

Applications received after 31 October 2026 will not be entertained at all. The court’s office has clearly stated that it will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery — so do not wait for the last two-three days to post your form.

Application Fee

The official notice does not prescribe any application fee for any post. The application is completely free — you only spend on photocopies, photographs and postage.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility

All three posts carry different qualifications. Punjabi is compulsory in one form or the other for every post, so check your certificates before applying.

Post NamePostsEducational QualificationAge Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
Lift Operator (General)1Matriculation with Punjabi as one subject + ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical from a Government Institute or its equivalent18 to 37 years
Worker for Creche (General)1Matriculation with Punjabi as one subject (as per Selection Criteria in the National Minimum Guidelines for Setting up and Running Creches under the Maternity Benefit Act, 2017)20 to 40 years
Guard for Creche (General)1Knowledge of Punjabi language up to middle standard (as applicable to Group-D posts in this Sessions Division)18 to 35 years

A few things in this table deserve a second look:

  • The Guard post does not ask for a plain “8th pass” certificate. The notice asks for knowledge of Punjabi up to middle standard, which is the Group-D standard in this Sessions Division. Do not assume the eligibility is the same as other court peon/guard vacancies.
  • The Worker (Creche) post starts at 20 years, not 18. Candidates below 20 are not eligible for this post even if they are matric pass. Its eligibility and selection are governed by the National Minimum Guidelines for creches under the Maternity Benefit Act, 2017, as circulated by the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court.
  • The Lift Operator post is a trade post. Without an ITI certificate in the Electrical trade, a matric certificate alone will not make you eligible.
  • Every candidate must meet the age and all other eligibility conditions as on 01 January 2026.

Salary

There is no fixed monthly figure in the notification, and any website quoting an exact salary for these posts is guessing. The notice says the selected candidates will be paid as per the minimum wages fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot, as admissible from time to time — in other words, the D.C. rate applicable to the post on the date of engagement, revised whenever the district rates are revised.

Selection Process

Selection will be made on the basis of:

  1. Skill Test / Interview – the venue and schedule will be notified later on the official website of the District Court, Faridkot (under the Recruitments section)
  2. Verification of original documents and photo ID on the day of the skill test / interview

Two important points from the notice:

  • No separate call letters will be issued. The skill test / interview schedule will appear only on the website — faridkot.dcourts.gov.in. If you apply and then wait for a letter at home, you may simply miss the interview.
  • The office can prepare a merit list / waiting list with more candidates than the number of posts, and the number of vacancies can be increased or decreased for administrative reasons.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the skill test / interview.

Documents to Attach With the Application

Attach self-attested photocopies of the following documents. Do not send original certificates with the application.

  • Date of birth proof
  • Punjabi passed certificate
  • Educational qualification documents (matric certificate, ITI certificate for Lift Operator)
  • Experience certificate, if any
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Any other relevant testimonials (proof of residence, category, etc.)

One detail candidates often miss: if your marks are in grades, the proforma requires you to convert grades into percentage as per the criteria of your board/university — and enclose a copy of that conversion criteria with the form.

How to Apply for Faridkot Court Recruitment 2026

  1. Download the official notification from the Important Links section below. The application proforma is printed in the same PDF, after the notice.
  2. Fill the application legibly in CAPITAL LETTERS with complete particulars. The form must be signed by the candidate.
  3. Paste one recent passport-size photograph on the form and attach the second photograph with the documents.
  4. Attach self-attested copies of all the documents listed above. Mention your mobile/contact number in the application — this is compulsory.
  5. Put the signed form and documents in an envelope and write the exact superscription for your post on the envelope (see below).
  6. Send the envelope so that it reaches the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Faridkot before 5:00 PM on 31 October 2026.

Write exactly this on the envelope, according to your post:

  • “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LIFT OPERATOR ON CONTRACT BASIS-2026”
  • “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF WORKER ON CONTRACT BASIS-2026”
  • “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF GUARD ON CONTRACT BASIS-2026”

Mistakes That Get Applications Rejected

  • One envelope, one application. If you want to apply for two or all three posts, you must send a separate application in a separate envelope for each post. Two forms in one envelope is a rejection risk.
  • Forms that are wrongly filled, incomplete, or not on the prescribed proforma will be summarily rejected without any notice, and the office will not enter into any correspondence about it.
  • The proforma has a column asking whether any FIR / criminal case was or is registered or pending against you. Fill it honestly and attach the status if the answer is yes — hiding it can get your candidature cancelled at any stage, even after selection.
  • Admission at every stage is purely provisional. If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage — before or even after the selection process — the candidature stands cancelled without further notice.

One more route to know about: a copy of this notice has also been sent to the District Employment Exchange, Faridkot, which will forward lists of eligible candidates. Whether your name comes through the Employment Exchange or you apply directly, the proforma, documents and deadline are exactly the same.
